Home cooking at its best
Our peaceful château is in a secluded spot and our little local village doesn’t have a restaurant, thankfully we love to cook and entertain so we offer an evening meal five night’s a week (we have Wednesday and Sunday evenings off to have a little family time with our children).
Three evenings a week – on Mondays, Thursday and Saturday – we serve up a four course set menu with a starter, main course, cheese course and dessert, all homemade and cooked with the freshest local produce and home-grown fruits and vegetables from our château potager. On Tuesday and Friday evenings you can relax on the terrace with one of our fantastic grazing boards and a good bottle of wine.
Dinner is served by candlelight at individual tables either in the garden or the salon at 8pm each evening. Our four-course evening meals cost €45 per person and children’s meals, which are served with the adult starters, are €15 per child for two courses (available for children 12 and under).
Our grazing boards are €25 a person with a minimum of two people sharing. Children’s grazing boards are €12.50 per child. Please note that grazing boards are only available on Tuesday and Friday evenings.
We are fully licensed to serve wine, beers and spirits to our guests and we have a lovely wine list full of beautiful Loire Valley Wines, homemade cocktails and locally brewed ales.
A little note on Dietary requirements
Following table d’hotes tradition all of our guests eat the same menu. As such we cannot guarantee that every course of our evening meals are vegan, dairy, gluten, egg or nut free. If you are vegetarian please do let us know when you book. All meals must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. If you have a very restrictive diet please contact us before you book to ensure we can accommodate you.
Breakfast
After a great night’s sleep come down to the salon for a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day. Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 10am every morning. Fresh bread and pastries from the boulangerie, homemade granola, jams, local honey, fresh fruit, yogurt and plenty of tea and coffee will be ready and waiting for you.
If you follow a gluten or dairy free diet please let us know in advance if you would like us to source coconut yogurt, oat milk or gluten free bread or cereal for you. Unfortunately other alternatives are not readily available to us, so if you have your favourites please feel free to bring your own.
