A private party
Become châtelain and chatelaine for a weekend or a few days and rent all three of our rooms for a private getaway. The Château can accommodate between six to nine adults across the three rooms (depending on how friendly you all are) or several families at once.
We will be on hand to look after you during your stay and can tailor make a package of laid back lunches, indulgent evening meals, picnics and afternoon teas. Please contact us for more information.

New Year at the Château
Wave goodbye to 2021 and welcome in 2022 in laidback luxury with a three-night New Year break at Château de la Ruche.
Stuffy formality isn’t our style but we do love to make our guests feel spoilt – so expect luxurious with a down to earth edge. Think hearty breakfasts, crisp country walks, lazy afternoons by the fire and boozy evening meals by candlelight. You can relax and unwind with your friends for a few days while we look after you.
On New Year’s Eve dig out your party best, enjoy our signature homemade cocktails and canapes, before sitting down to a truly special Réveillon Feast with some beautiful Loire Valley wines.
Your New Year Break includes:
- Exclusive use of the Château and grounds for the duration of your stay.
- Three night’s accommodation for six adults
- A hearty French breakfast each morning with fresh pastries, homemade jams, granola, yogurt and fruit and a big brunch on New’s Year’s Day.
- A home-cooked evening meal each night during your stay
- A very special Réveillon Feast on New Year’s Eve with unlimited local wines, beers and spirits*.

Accommodation
The Chateau has three beautifully renovated bedrooms and can accommodate six adults based on two sharing.
Please note that our two suites – the Meadow Suite and the Honey Suite – have additional single beds in the second bedrooms.
The Meadow Suite has two full-sized single beds and the Honey Suite one full-sized single bed. These can be used by additional adults if you don’t mind sharing a bathroom.

*Please note other than New Year’s Eve, drinks are not included in the package price. We are fully licensed and have a lovely list of local wines, local beers, homemade cocktails and all the spirits.
Winter Weekends
Escape to the château for a long weekend with family and friends this winter. Relax and unwind while we look after you. Enjoy hearty fireside breakfasts, frosty country walks, lazy afternoons and candlelit evening meals.
Stay in one of our three beautiful chateau bedrooms, start your day with a luxurious French breakfast of fresh pastries, homemade jams, granola, yogurt and fruit; and end it with an indulgent four-course meal made from the freshest local ingredients.

Your private hire winter weekend package includes:
- Exclusive use of the Château and grounds for the duration of your stay. Arriving on Friday afternoon and departing after breakfast on Monday morning.
- Three night’s accommodation for six people.
